I've driven up to compete twice now, best part of 200 miles but so worth it, fab event
On the whole we were very pleased with how the weekend went despite the what the weather through at us.
The Dressage and Cross Country tracks held up really well and although we did roll the Showjumping arenas it did get cut up in places. Those that did continue and went Cross Country on tracks designed both Dominic Lawrence and Ian Stark found better ground.
It was a great result for Bubby Upton who won the Advanced and it was great to see so many local riders have a good weekend too.
Ground repair is well on its way and planning for next year already started, a date for the diary is the 15/16 September 2018.
First time i've visited and certainly wont be the last. lovely XC and all your car park staff clearly had had their weetabix for breakfast given the amount of cars they were pushing out
